Purpose of United Methodist Women

Women come together whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship, and to expand the concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Meetings:
Audrey Newman Circle - Monday after the first Sunday of the month (1:00 PM, Fellowship Hall)
Bevan-Parramore/Hadden-Paul Circle - Monday after the first Sunday of the month (1:00 PM,                           Fellowship Hall)
Dickinson-Williamson Circle - Third Monday of the month (7:00 PM, in homes)
Miss Robbie's Circle - Tuesday after the General Meeting (5:30 PM, in homes)
 
Mission Work
  • Packages sent to soldiers
  • Monies donated to a needy person or family
  • Monies donated to missionaries
  • Visits to nursing homes
  • Gas money donated to eight college girls
  • Brown Bag minnistry
Yearly Events
  • Monthly luncheon and general meeting
  • Holy Week Luncheon
  • Silver Tea and Open House
